Django or RoR ??

Got a really nice email from the guy behind “Thinking in GIS” (see my post below) who suggested trying out Django rather than Ruby on Rails for GIS related web applications. Choices… there are just too many for a newbie. Django’s based on Python. I had mentioned I was curious about both Python and Ruby for scripting in connection with GIS. Guess I need to find a place that compares the two and explains the pro/con of each.
