Trans-Atlantic Cruise

You’ve bought your ticket. You’ve gotten a new passport. You’ve packed your bags. You’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.

You’ve shared a room with some snoring stranger. You’ve overlooked the rats below deck. You’re sea sick as a dog and the food’s been awful but you haven’t complained. You’re just too excited about the voyage.

Then, in the middle of the night, you hear a loud thump. Water is splashing around the hall outside your door. The lights are flickering and the ground moves beneath your feet. You ask the guy in uniform what’s going on – if you can help ? You’re told to go back to bed. Things are under control. What do you do ? At what point do you make a run for your life ?
